October 28th, 2014 …Deadline to submit a request for a Vote-by-Mail ballot
Many California voters choose to vote-by-mail for a variety of reasons.
Any registered voter may vote with a "vote-by-mail" ballot by:
- Applying in writing to your county elections official; or
- Completing the vote-by-mail ballot application that is included in your sample ballot, which your county elections official will mail to you prior to each election
Remember, if you are interested in applying for a vote-by-mail ballot, your application for a vote-by-mail ballot must be received by your county elections office at least 7 days before an election. For the upcoming November 4th General Election, that deadline is Tuesday, October 28th, 2014.
