On Tuesday, August 14th at 10 am, five simultaneous press conferences across the state will be held to announce the submission of over 850,000 signatures to the 58 county registrars.

This will be the first commercial property tax reform initiative to qualify for the ballot in 40 years since Prop 13 passed in 1978.

This is the Monthly Meeting for the Committee on Criminal Justice Reform.

Speaker: Denah Hoard is the first Executive Director of the Office for Campaign Finance and Ethics Commission, appointed by the OC Board of Supervisors. Ms. Hoard has more than 20 years of public service as an attorney representing public entities, most recently as the Senior Assistant City Attorney for the City of Orange. Prior to the City of Orange, Hoard held positions at California State University, Long Beach and the City of Santa Ana.
