BUY TICKETS and come celebrate a century of the League of Women Voters with a Roaring 20s themed gala at The Woman’s Club in Claremont. Valentine’s Day with the League includes food, drinks, live jazz music, and a silent auction. All proceeds will go toward your local League’s work to create a more perfect democracy through education, voter services, outreach and action. 1920s or cocktail attire suggested.

In honor of the 100th Birthday of the League of Women Voters, the League is sponsoring a coordinated Day of Action to strengthen democracy. The League of Women Voters of Diablo Valley will focus on the issue of redistricting. The People Powered Fair Maps Campaign began in September 2019, and will continue through 2020 ahead of the 2021 redistricting cycle.

On Thursday, February 13, 2020, the Torrance League of Women Voters is hosting a Candidates' Forums for the City of Gardena’s March 3, 2020 Election. Free event. No one wearing campaign buttons or shirts will be admitted.

This month marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the League of Women Voters! To celebrate and mark this once-in-a-lifetime occasion, our League will be recognized at San Diego Board of Supervisors and San Diego City Council on February 11, where our elected officials will declare February 14 League of Women Voters Day!
