"Possibilities for Change in Butte County"
This will be a series of presentations on current technologies and local plans already in effect with the goal to end city-wide greenhouse gas emissions. Local representatives will also speak on current discussions for action in Chico. Additional speakers will be joining these lead presenters on the panels for each night. Currently scheduled topics are:
● October 17: “Possibilities for Change in Chico” John Mitchell, Engineer and author of Climate mobilization plans for 9 U.S. cities
● November 14: “Where we are Now - Chico’s Sustainability Plan/Actions” Ann Schwab, Chico City Councilwoman
● December 5: “Regenerative Agriculture” Local farmers and ranchers practicing sustainable agriculture
